Proxy detection test: can a website tell you're using a proxy?
We check what anti-bot systems look at: IP type, operating system from TCP/IP packets, MTU, latency, time zone, language, WebRTC and IPv6. With a score and what to fix.

Our server only sees how the connection is opened and keeps it in memory for 2 minutes for the comparison. Your browser works out the rest. We don't store anything.
How it works
- Our server reads the IP you come from and how the connection is opened, i.e. the first TCP packet: from it we get the operating system, the MTU and the network latency.
- Your browser adds what only it knows: the declared operating system, time zone, language, WebRTC addresses, IPv6 and the time it takes to reach us.
- We compare the two sides like anti-bot systems do and tell you what doesn't add up and how to fix it.
To test a proxy, set it in your browser or antidetect and open this page from there. With our proxies you choose the TCP/IP fingerprint in the client area, so it matches your browser.
FAQ
What is a TCP/IP fingerprint?
Every operating system opens connections in its own way: TTL, window size and the order of TCP options. A website can read them and tell whether the packet comes from Windows, macOS, Linux or Android. If that doesn't match what the browser says, there's a proxy or a VPN in between.
Why does latency give a proxy away?
The server measures the time to the point the connection comes from, i.e. the proxy; the browser measures the time to you. If the second is much longer than the first, there's an intermediary between you and the website.
What is a WebRTC leak?
WebRTC is used for calls and video calls in the browser and can reveal your real IP even with a proxy on. Antidetect browsers let you block it or replace it with the proxy's IP.
Do time zone and language really matter?
On their own they're rarely enough, but anti-bot systems add signals up: an Italian IP with the browser on another time zone is one of the easiest checks to run. Set the time zone and language of the proxy's country.
How do ProxyHub proxies do?
Traffic leaves from a real phone with a mobile IP, and you choose the TCP/IP fingerprint in the client area (Windows, macOS, iOS and more) to match your browser. Time zone, language and WebRTC are set in the browser or the antidetect.
Do you store anything?
No. How the connection was opened stays in memory for 2 minutes for the comparison and is then deleted; your browser works out the rest.
