Set up the proxy in Octo Browser
In Octo Browser every profile has its own proxy, and there's also a field for the IP-change link: with a ProxyHub proxy you can change address straight from the browser, without opening the client area.
Step by step
- 1
Open Octo Browser and create a new profile, or edit an existing one.
- 2
Click the profile's Proxy field and choose “Set a new proxy”, or add it from the Proxy Manager to reuse it.
- 3
Choose HTTP or SOCKS5 as the type, the same protocol set in the client area, then paste the host:port:user:password string into the Host field: port, login and password fill in by themselves.
- 4
In the “URL for IP Change” field paste your proxy's rotation link (proxy page in the client area): you can then change IP in one click from Octo.
- 5
Click “Check proxy”: the proxy's mobile IP, country and city should appear. Save the profile and start it.
Tips
- Use the “Ready to paste” format from the client area: many tools recognise host:port:user:password on their own.
- In the client area pick a TCP/IP fingerprint matching the profile's operating system (e.g. Windows 11): sites and anti-fraud systems will see a consistent device.
- Let the profile set timezone, language and location from the proxy's IP.
- To change IP between sessions use the “Rotate IP” button or the rotation link.
- The IP can be changed via the link at most once every 60 seconds: the new address arrives within seconds from the same carrier.
